HOW WAS DIALLED IN CREATED?
Dialled In was born from the coming together of members from 3 different collectives - Chalo, No ID and Daytimers. The success of our first event was such that Dialled In became its own event thereafter!
ARE DIALLED IN AND DAYTIMERS THE SAME?
Dialled In is a music, arts and culture organisation who programme, platform and reimagine South Asian Arts. Daytimers is a community made up of incredible individuals who champion the sounds, stories & voices of South Asian creative communities. We love and (sometimes) work with Daytimers and while we sometimes have an overlap of brilliant people, we are two different entities.
WHAT MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
Depending on the programming, our music will spans across (and is not limited to) Afrobeats, Afro-Desi, Amapiano, Ballroom, Bangla, Bass, Bhangra, Bollywood, Bollypiano, Carnatic, Chutney Classical, Club, Dancehall, Desi, Dembow, Disco, Folk, Footwork, Future Desi, Future Beats, Funky House, Garage, Ghazal, Gqom, Hip Hop, Hindustani, House, Indie, Jazz, Jersey, Nepali, Pakistani, Panjabi, Rap, Rock, R&B, R&G, Soul ,Sufi, Tamil, Qawwali, Techno. While we are not limited by genres, we centre artists of South Asian origin and invite them to be free with their expression.
We book DJs who make noise, tell stories, teach us something new and hold our emotions of expression, joy, rage and sadness. We encourage you to check our artists out before the show and support them on and off the dancefloor.
IS Dialled In A SAFE SPACE ?
While we make every effort to ensure Dialled In is as comfortable for our community as possible, like any live event, we work with you, our audiences, to help provide a completely safe space.
Regrettably, predators are covert and everywhere and while we will have systems in place to support you at our events (such as our safer space team and security), we do not have control over, nor are we responsible for, how people behave in, or outside Dialled In events. Remember, the safest space is the crew you roll with, keep your circle tight and look after each other as calmly and carefully as possible.

HOW DO I BUY A TICKET TO YOUR EVENTS?
All tickets are only sold through DICE, unless stated otherwise.

I CAN’T ATTEND ANYMORE, HOW DO I GET A REFUND OR RESELL MY TICKET ?
Dialled In does not offer refunds, unless there are exceptional circumstances. If you have an exceptional circumstance, please contact Dice directly.
Generally, tickets are eligible for refund once the event is sold out and you have put your ticket up for resale on the DICE app. Once a ticket tier has sold out, the app will open up a refund option, which allows guests to sell their tickets to other users on the waiting list.
After this, a guest on the waiting list can purchase your ticket, thus activating your refund.
I AM ON THE WAITING LIST, WILL I GET A TICKET?
If your ticket tier has sold out and you sign up for the waiting list for that tier, you will be notified if and when a ticket in that tier becomes available. Unfortunately you are not guaranteed a ticket but if one becomes available, you’ll have an hour to purchase it.
I CANNOT AFFORD A TICKET, CAN I STILL COME?
We have a number of free or discounted tickets for QTBIPOC (Queer & Trans Black, Indigenous & People Of Colour) and lower income individuals in our community who cannot afford to pay full price. For access to this please email info@dialled-in.com with your: full name, contact number and what ticket type you need (free or pay what you can afford). Please put LOWER INCOME TICKET REQUEST in the subject line.
DO YOU SELL TICKETS ON THE DOOR?
Yes, although this is dependent on an event-by-event basis.
DOES MY FESTIVAL TICKET INCLUDE ACCESS TO THE AFTER PARTY?
No. Dialled In After Parties are separate events.
DOES MY FESTIVAL TICKET INCLUDE FOOD AND DRINK?
Food & Drink are sold separately to the festival ticket. We have delicious food & drink options and bars at our venues, often supplied by independent businesses we love to support!
TICKETING
DO YOU HANDLE LOST PROPERTY FOR YOUR EVENTS?
Lost property is handled by the venue in which our event takes place. Please contact the respective venue directly if you’ve lost something.
CAN I COME ALONE?
Of course! The first hour of our parties is always dedicated to people attending on their own so we encourage you to come down and mingle with other solo partiers. Our team are always on hand for friendly chat :)
I DONT HAVE ID, CAN I STILL GET IN?
Always aim to have your ID on you. Photocopies may work, although the ultimate decision is dependent on the venue security’s discretion and it is up to you to take the risk on the door. Security understands that our trans guests may look different to their ID.
I FEEL UNSAFE WHEN I LEAVE THE VENUE, WHAT CAN I DO?
While we book security to manage the space outside the venue for 30 minutes after closing time, Dialled In cannot control the environment outside of the club. We suggest leaving promptly when the party ends and staying in groups where possible.
